My last mini KVM was ctrl+alt+shift, number, enter and I hated it.

It's very easy to get used to (at least for me using the ctrl, ctrl, number, enter method). The necessary keystrokes quickly became second nature to me. I'm also really enjoying being able to switch the audio independently of the keyboard, mouse and monitor. I was able to easily change the hotkey to ctrl, ctrl, enter and it works great. My Keyboard does not have a real scroll lock button (have to hit function key to acccess). It has met and exceeded my expectations at this price point. I'm really glad I pulled the trigger on this unit. I wanted a USB KVM to replace my old one so I could stop worrying about trying to find PS/2 input devices and use a really nice Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo that I've had laying around for a while. I was able to locate the KVM under the flat panel monitor so that I can see the lights that indicate which system is currently connected. This is very helpful when I need to rebuild an old system without USB suport and wish to share only the monitor.Д¬ons: The only change that would be helpful is to allow mounting the KVM box if you wanted to locate it under a desk. I can also use a non USB computer on this switch as long as a second computer is running to power the KVM. I also have a second monitor connected directly to the Mac which allows me to watch two different computers at the same time. I find that this works best if I powerup the Mac first because I use the Mac 'Option' key to allow the selection of the Mac or XP OS. My Mac is set to dual boot to support the two OS systems. The only setup was to change the KVM to use the Mac 'Control' key and tell the KVM a Mac keyboard was connected.
